Becoming a member is easy... Just fill out the contact us form and a member of the committee will contact you.
You must be a Town of Parma resident and you must be a registered Republican. If registered with another party or
not registered, let us know and we will provide you a voter registration form or you can visit the
NYS Boad of Elections Voter Registration
site for instructions and forms on how to register.
The next step is to attend a few of our monthly committee meetings. Please stop at the front table when attending your
first meeting to introduce yourself to the committee chairman and town leader. Meetings generally last for about
an hour and are followed by refreshments, snacks and open discussions.
If after attending a couple of meetings you feel you would like to join the committee, let the town leader know and
you will be invited to attend the meetings as an associate member. Once there is an opening for a full member
(limited to 60 members by law - four for each election district), you will be invited to become a full member.
Committee member responsibilities
- Attend monthly meetings
- Vote for the candidates of your choice at town and county conventions (full committee members only)
- Lend a hand with fundraisers
- Support our candidates by distributing signs, literature, etc.
- Carry petitions in our annual petition drive (only 15 signatures are requested)
